About Prime Site & Septic

A Local Crew That Treats Your Property Like Our Own

Prime Site & Septic LLC is a family-run, NC Grade II certified on-site wastewater company based in Grimesland. Owners Ulises Cisneros and Jesmelly Lugo-Tirado started the business with one goal: give Eastern North Carolina homeowners and builders a septic contractor who shows up, explains the work in plain language and builds systems that pass inspection the first time.

We handle the full job in-house. We clear the lot, dig the trenches, set the tank, lay the drain field and leave the yard graded and clean. One crew, one point of contact, and no surprises on the final bill.

Our Process

Four Simple Steps From First Call to Final Inspection

Septic work can feel complicated. We keep it straightforward, so you always know what's happening next and what it costs.

01

Call or Request a Quote

Tell us about your property and what's going on. We'll set up a time to walk the site with you, usually within a few days.

02

Site Visit & Written Estimate

We look at the lot, the soil evaluation and any existing system, then give you a clear, written price with no hidden extras.

03

Permits & Scheduling

We coordinate with your county health department so the design is approved before we dig, then lock in a date that works for you.

04

Install, Inspect & Clean Up

We build the system, meet the inspector on site, then backfill, grade and leave your yard clean.

Why Choose Us

The Septic Contractor Eastern NC Can Count On

Your septic system is one of the most expensive parts of your property, and one of the hardest to fix if it's done wrong. Here's why homeowners and builders call us first.

Red heavy equipment on a job site

NC Grade II Certified

Certified for on-site wastewater systems, so your septic system is designed, built and documented to state standards.

Owner-Operated

Ulises and Jesmelly are on your job. You talk directly to the people doing the work, not a call center.

Permit-Ready Work

We work with Pitt, Beaufort and Craven County health departments and build to the approved permit, every time.

Septic + Clearing, One Crew

We clear the lot and install the system ourselves, which means fewer contractors and fewer delays.

Honest, Written Pricing

Clear estimates before we start. If something changes underground, we talk to you before we do more work.

Clean, Finished Sites

We backfill, grade and haul off debris so your yard looks finished, not like a job site.

Problems We Fix

Is Your Septic System Trying to Tell You Something?

Water flowing from a drainage pipe

Sewage Backing Up

Toilets or floor drains backing up usually means a blocked line, a full tank or a failing drain field. We find the cause and fix it.

Soggy or Smelly Yard

Standing water or odors over the drain field are signs effluent isn't soaking in. We repair or replace the field.

Slow Drains & Gurgling

Slow sinks and gurgling pipes point to blockages or a failing system. We diagnose the problem before it becomes a backup.

Failed Drain Field

Saturated soil, roots and age wear out lines. We rebuild with gravity, gravel trench, fill or sand-lined trench systems.

Damaged Tank or Baffles

Cracked tanks, broken baffles and damaged lids are safety hazards. We repair them or install a new tank.

Overgrown, Unusable Lot

Brush and trees in the way of your build or septic system? We clear and mulch the lot so the work can begin.

Our tank had a broken baffle and sewage was backing up. They came out fast, explained exactly what was wrong and fixed it for a fair price. Honest people.

FAQ

Answers to Common Septic Questions

Still have questions? Call or email us and we'll talk it through, with no pressure and no obligation.

Bulldozer in an open field
Do I need a permit to install or repair a septic system in North Carolina?

Yes. New systems, repairs and most replacements need a permit from your county health department. We coordinate the permit process with Pitt, Beaufort or Craven County and build the system to the approved design.

How do I know if my septic system is failing?

Common signs are slow drains, gurgling pipes, sewage odors, soggy ground or bright green grass over the drain field, and backups into the house. If you notice any of these, call us for an inspection before the problem gets worse.

What types of septic systems do you install?

We install conventional gravity, gravel trench, single-pump, single-siphon, multiple-tank, fill and sand-lined trench systems, plus approved gravity and single-pump dispersal systems and grease traps. We install residential systems up to 1,499 gallons per day.

How long does a new septic installation take?

Most residential installs take a few days on site once the permit is approved. Weather, soil conditions and inspection scheduling can affect the timeline, and we'll give you a clear schedule before we start.

Do you pump or clean out septic tanks?

Septic pumping and clean-outs require separate authorization. Our focus is installation, repair and drain field work, and we're happy to point you to a licensed pumping company.

Can you clear my lot before the septic system goes in?

Yes, and it's one of the main reasons customers choose us. We handle land clearing, brush and overgrowth removal and forestry mulching, then install the septic system with the same crew.
